My name is Mark McEntire, and I am Professor of Religion at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, where I teach courses in Old Testament and Biblical Hebrew Language.  My primary research interest is Old Testament theology and my most current work is Portraits of a Mature God:  Choices in Old Testament Theology (Fortress Press, 2013).  My blogging interest is the convergence of methods in biblical studies, which have passed through a generation characterized by fragmentation.  I will write about this and related issues in my fiels as they arise.  Thanks for reading.
